▸ Archivist's Notes

DEVICE: GreaseWeazle 4.1
   DRIVE: TEAC FD-55GFR
   SUITE: FluxEngine (decoder.retries=1, drive.revolutions=1.2)
ARCHIVER: Lee Smallbone
ARCHIVED: 2026-05-26 12:50 (GMT/UTC)

NOTES:
Disk from a large (50+) disk collection purchased from eBay.

Disk in good physical condition throughout, however some mild mold sporing noted on the reverse of the disk (head 1 side). This was sufficiently mild enough that archiver made the decision to attempt to image as-is in the first instance.

Disk drive heads thoroughly cleaned (3x 'gw clean' cycles with a isopropyl alcohol-soaked cleaning disk)

100% media recovery on first pass. Mild recovering issues on two head 1 cylinders (61 and 63) but these not used on the format so no data risk.

Disk returned to original sleeve for archiving.

PUBLICATION ISSUE!

The first menu screen said February 1988, which threw me for a moment as this is a 1989 disk. Subsequent menu screens show the correct February 1989 publication date. Oops!
