Competition Results
Yes folks the moment you have all been waiting for, Prize Time.
Just a short speech before the ceremony. Thanks to everyone who sent
in an article, and sorry if you didn't win anything. Judging was made
very difficult due to the number of applicants, but we have come up
with five winners. Drum roll please.
In reverse order:
£10 Book tokens go to
Simon Humphries Kyocera F1010 Laser Printer *
James Collins Magnetic Media Matters *
Alan Solomon A Two Hamburger Problem
The Radio cassette with built in telephone goes to
Neil Thompson Which DOS and When *
The WS4000 Modem
Robin Swale Review of PC Outline
* These articles will appear in future issues of the Magazette.
Another Competition
As there was so much response to the last competition, and there is
obviously so much talent out there we are running another competition.
Again it will be based around articles suitible this time for
publication in our printed newsletter. For this reason, please keep
entries down to a reasonable length, (not over 10k approx is
reasonable). The prize will be one of the revamped WS4000's with
three (count them) extra LED's on the front panel.
So get those word processors processing words and those articles (of
reasonable length) flooding onto our desks.
Imagination impresses us, lets have some top class articles on anything
you care to shout about. But remember it is to be of interest to the
rest of us. ASCII text is best (Please no WordStar 2000) WordStar and
Microsoft Word can be translated but can be a pain.
