U-TOOLS
        U-TOOLS is a set of 21 utilities which provide a UNIX-like front  end 
   to PC/DOS or MS/DOS. A full list of commands is as follows:

        cat  chmod  comm  exec   find  grep   hd   ls   make  more  mv
        pr   read   rm   setkey  tee   tim  touch  uniq  wc   xcopy

   "make"  is  equivalent  to  the UNIX make  utility,  it  rebuilds  complex 
   programs with a single command.  Specify the relationships of each  module 
   and  automatically  rebuild  with the minumum number of compile  and  link 
   steps. Configurable for any compiler or assembler.
   "xcopy"  is  an extended file copy program,  it can copy ( with  a  single 
   command  )  a  set of files plus sub-directories  and  files  within  sub-
   directories  etc etc to any depth from one drive or directory to  another. 
   Options permit copying according to timestamp or attributes.

                                REFORM
                                ~~~~~~
        If  your IBM XT winchester disk is full or nearly full then you  need
   reform.  REFORM changes the cluster size of the disk - this is the unit of
   allocation  of  disk  sectors.  On an XT the normal cluster size  is  4096
   REFORM resets the cluster size to 1024 bytes,  reducing this wasted space.
   A typical full XT disk with 1200 files and 60 sub-directories will,  after
   running reform,  have 2.5 to 3.0 megabytes of free space.  That's an extra
   25 to 30% of disk space without having to spend money on a larger disk.
        Notes:
        Running  REFORM  reformats the disk so you need to back up  all  your 
   files.  XCOPY  (  from U-TOOLS ) is provided to allow an easy copy of  all 
   files  onto another device ( either floppies or another winchester if  you 
   have one ).
   You  must  upgrade to PC/DOS version 3.0 or  3.1 ( not supplied )

   faster,  the  effect  is  most noticeable on screen  scrolling  speed  and
   ramdisks which both use the MOVSW instruction. For assembly programmers it
   supports the full 80188/80186 instruction set including ENTER LEAVE  PUSHA
