BOXING - W.B.C.O.A.F. World Championship Boxing

Fight fans will appreciate this text-mode action game. Pit your pugilist
against any one of a stable of famous fighters - from the near legendary
Joe Frazier to the near real Rocky Balboa.
Rules and regulations from many boxing bodies are observed; for this reason,
the authors have entitled the game as they have: the initials stand for
'World Boxing Council/Organisation/Association/Federation' !
Game Options
------------
1. Computer v Computer [Demo Mode]
There are ten computer opponents: simply choose two of them to fight.
2. Computer v Player
First select a computer opponent to fight; then enter your boxer's
training schedule.
3. Player v Player
This option is made available so that you can fight another human
opponent.

Boxer Training Sessions
-----------------------
Once you have entered your boxer's name, the program displays the number of
weeks left for training. You must now decide how much time you wish to
spend on each of the following disciplines:
1. Strength Training
2. Endurance Training
3. Speed Training
On each you must spend between TWO and TEN weeks.
Boxer Style Selection
---------------------
After your training sessions, you will be asked your boxer's style:
Choose between:
1. Dancer
2. Fighter
3. Show Man
4. Slugger
5. South Paw
6. Strong Man
These styles will affect not only your training progress but also
other attributes, like your abillity to dodge blows etc....
Best Punch Selection
--------------------
You will be asked to evaluate your boxer's best puch; the choices are:
1. Uppercut
2. Wild Swing
3. Hook
4. Jab
5. Body Punch

Computer Opponents
------------------
There are ten computer opponents; these are:
1. Mohammed Ali
2. Mike Tyson
3. George Foreman
4. Ivan Drago
5. 'Smokin' Joe Frazier
6. Frank Bruno
7. Buster Douglas
8. Clubber Lang
9. Apollo Creed
10. Rocky Balboa
Each of the ten computer opponents has his own characteristics and boxing
style - as close to the real boxers as possible.

Rules & Regulations
-------------------
* 3 Knock downs in one round results in a Technical Knock Out (TKO)
* The referee (computerised) can stop the fight if a cut gets too bad
* There is a possible disqualification for persistant dirty fighting

Punches
-------
Once the bout has began their are five punches available to each boxer:
1. [A] Uppercut
2. [B] Wild Swing
3. [C] Hook
4. [D] Jab
5. [E] Body Punch
Other actions include:
6. [F] Gaurd Up
7. [G] Hold On
8. [H] Head Butt
9. [I] Throw off
Each of the punches has its own accuracy and damage rating, calculated in
accordance with your boxer's skills and training.
Each of the punches has a corresponding letter and number (as above). When
playing against a computer opponent, you use the NUMBERS to determine action.
When there are two human opponents fighting, player one uses LETTERS and
player two uses NUMBERS.

Once you have become fairly competent at boxing
you can set up some kind of World ranking
system between several friends.
So get in that ring and give em' ya' best shot !!
