FORCEBKU by A C Bradley (see Help Screens in PC PLUS Jan 1991)
A C Bradley wrote with a suggested batch file that can be extended and
expanded in several directions. Its basic idea (as in this fragment)
is to replace the operator's normal calling sequence with a more secure
one: for example, the file called here FORCEBKU.BAT would probably be
named CALLPRG1.BAT in a working system. By keying CALLPRG1 [ENTER]
instead of PROGRAM1 [ENTER], the operator is reminded (and forced) to
do necessary data backups. Our reader suggests many ways in which this
simple skeleton of an idea could be extended.
Please see Wilf's Programmers' Workshop - and the WORKSHOP directory on
this SuperDisk - for further discussion related to this idea.
