ADDRESS.BAT is the example of an interesting BAT file usage, suggested
by Nabil Asaad (Harrogate). See the letter "FREE FACTS"

CURRENT.BAT shows a way date and time can be put to interesting use,
suggested by Michael Perryman (Redhill). See the letter,
      "ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY"

Included here are NUMOFF and NUMON, simple little programs that turn off
and on the NUM LOCK on your keyboard. Why have them, when a single
keystroke will do the job? Well, in the middle of a BAT file, it
may be convenient to set it one way or the other. Also included
are the BUG files with which you can produce these programs.

      Just do it like this:
                DEBUG <NUMOFF.BUG
