NAV2 by Dr B.G.Knows

Working my way around the London Underground was a walk-in-the-park
compared to navigating your way around a computer with over a hundred
directories on three hard drives! To ease things a little I wrote NAV2.

NAV2 presents a graphical map of your hard disk showing all those
cul-de-sacs and side streets. You simply navigate the directory tree
using the up and down arrow keys and the home key. When you have found
the one you want you select it with a press of the return key. As you move
through the tree the full path of the currently highlighted directory is
shown at the top of the screen. If you change your mind simply press the
Escape key.

If you want to change to a different drive press F10 and type a letter
within the range specified. NAV2 copes with all logical drives, including
floppy drives. It will also cope with a 'Drive Not Ready' error if you
select an empty floppy drive.

There are two command line options: /Q+ and /50. The first of these searches
only for directory names that don't have a three letter extension. Using
this switch can make NAV2 run twice as fast if you never add an extension to
your directory names. /50 will run NAV2 in 43/50 line mode on an EGA/VGA
monitor. This allows much more of the tree to be viewed at one go.
