This is a unique program from EIZO, one of the major graphics cards
and monitor suppliers. It's complete and fully working and only takes
up a few bytes of memory.
When you run it, it allows graphics modes to be displayed at 67Hz
instead of the default 59Hz, as long as you have a multi scan monitor.
The effect of this is to considerabley reduce screen flicker and give
clearer, easier to see displays.
If you are unsure about whether the program will work on your monitor,
you can run the program FLICKER.EXE (or just click on the RUN button)
and then swap between 60Hz and 67Hz displays. If the 67Hz option
creates an unreadable display, you will not be able to use the
program. But if you get a steady white display you will be able to use
it with all your graphics software.
In particular WINDOWS and OS/2 users will find FLICKER KICKER to be
immensely useful.
Once you have determined whether FLICKER KICKER is improving your
monitor's display you should copy the file 70.COM from the directory
FLICKER on this disk to a directory mentioned in your path on your
hard disk, and add a call to it in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.

Monitors contact EIZO at the address shown in the program, or call:
