     INTRODUCTION
     ------------
     Established in 1985, Advantage offers a number of services for the
     computer owner.

     A choice of two User Groups is available.  Group-8 is for users of the
     Amstrad CPC and PCW ranges.  Group-16 is for users of Amstrad PC1512
     and PC1640 ranges and all PC compatibles.

     The objectives of the user groups are to act as a forum for the
     exchange of ideas, knowledge and experience, to monitor standards of
     commercial products and to offer a wide range of software at low cost.

     The membership includes hobbyists, small businesses, professional
     computer users, programmers and educational establishments. It is
     largely UK-based but a significant number of users have joined from
     Europe, Africa, Malaysia, Australasia, the Middle East and the USA.

     ADVANTAGE-16 USER GROUP
     -----------------------
     The User Group for owners of 16-bit Personal Computers. This includes
     the Amstrad PC1512, PC1640 and all computers capable of running MSDOS
     Version 2 onwards.

     Members receive monthly newsletters containing items specifically for
     these machines.  They have the opportunity to air their views,
     problems and ideas via the Newsletter and are actively encouraged to
     get involved in reviewing new products, writing articles and
     contributing programs.  They are entitled to discounts on all software
     offered by Advantage.

     Members may seek technical support either by telephone or in writing.
     Advantage will endeavour to reply either directly, by post or via the
     newsletter.  Detailed and complex problems can be tackled using the
     Advantage Professional Consultancy service.

     ADVANTAGE SOFTWARE
     ------------------
     A large selection of well-established commercial software is available
     from Advantage at competive prices.  We specialise in High Level
     Languages.

     Advantage also have a growing collection of low-cost discs containing
     public domain and user-supported software which has been assessed and,
     on which we can advise.

     Our software is all described fully on our Catalogue-On-A-Disc which
     will be sent on receipt of a Stamped-Addressed-Envelope.

     Members of both user groups are entitled to discounts on all software.

     Most of the software offered will run on a minimum configuration of
     one floppy disc drive and 128k RAM.  Some programs however require
     more RAM and more than one disc drive.

     Some of the software offered requires a standard graphics card (CGA).
     Graphics capabilities are standard on all Amstrad PC's (except the
     PC1640 Mono) but some compatibles may not have them.

     Advantage is an authorised dealer for the following products:-

     * MIX C Compiler, Power C and associated packages.
     * UTAH and NEVADA compilers from Ellis Computing.
     * The entire Hisoft range.
     * Borland Turbo packages and all other Borland products.
     * Zorland C and all associated Zorland software.
     * Buttonware PC-FILE+, PC-TYPE+, PC-CALC+ and other products.
     * Database Publications software.
     * PC-Software Interest Group Public Domain and User-Supported Library.

     SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE
     --------------------
     The Advantage policy is to continually review, upgrade and enhance the
     software offered.  In order that users may keep up to date, without
     the expense of purchasing new copies, an upgrade to the latest version
     of any item can be obtained by returning the original package together
     with a nominal payment to cover costs (This does not apply to software
     in the Professional Catalogue).

     A Small-Ads column is regularly featured in both our monthly
     newsletters.  There is no limit on the number of advertisements placed
     or their size.  The presentation will be determined by Advantage.  The
     charge is at a flat rate of only 2 pence per word.

     DISPLAY ADS
     -----------
     Members or traders wishing to display a more sophisticated
     advertisement in the newsletters can submit camera-ready artwork for
     either half page or full-page display.  The advertisement will appear
     in whichever newsletter is appropriate unless stipulated.

     ADVERTISING RATES
     -----------------
     Half page in one newsletter £12 per issue.  In both newsletters £18.
     Full page in one newsletter £20 per issue.  In both newsletters £30.

     Book two consecutive issues and obtain the third one at half price.

     Above presumes camera-ready artwork is supplied before 5th of the
     month of publication.

     ON-DISC PROMOTIONS
     ------------------
     Promoting your product on a disc is a very powerful method indeed and
     would give a potential customer far greater insight into your
     product's capabilities.  Advantage would be willing to help design
     your campaign presentation and integrate the material into specially
     prepared, easy to use DEMO programs.  We can also offer competitive
     rates for disc duplication and distribution.

     For short runs we can substitute your promotional disc for one of the
     blanks when a customer orders a pack of blank discs.

     For larger runs we can supply your disc with ALL our orders and
     mailshots thus reaching a significant number of PC software buyers.
