│                                QUICK FORMATTER                              │

│ As its name suggests, Quick formatter will format  your discs in a fraction │
│ of the  time the  MSdos utility takes.  It works  by simply formatting each │
│ track  in  turn,  first on one  side then  the other,  and its  speed comes │
│ through not verifying the format.                                           │
│                                                                             │
│ You  have two options  you can  specify.  Firstly,  you can  choose whether │
│ to format drive A or  B  (Formatting   drive  C  is not  allowed,  as  this │
│ can be dangerous - if you need to do this,  use the standard MSdos utility) │
│ by typing either QF A or QF B (the colon is not required).                  │
│                                                                             │
│ Secondly, following the drive option you  can type the  letter V. This lets │
│ you switch the verify option back  on if you  are unsure about a particular │
│ disc.                                                                       │
│                                                                             │
│ Because the program doesn't verify, it is recommended  that you only use it │
│ on new or well looked after discs.                                          │
