                                                   First Quarter





Our first quarter profits are up over the comparable quarter ì
last year.  In the first three months, we've been able to ì
control our expenses and still maintain the high printing ì
quality our customers have come to expect.


The Numbers

Our income in the first quarter of this year was .  ì
Income for the same quarter last year was .  This ì
represents an increase of nearly $7,500.

Our Staff

The breakdown of profits is, of course, not the only indicator ì
of how we're doing.  The people who comprise our organization ì
play a large role in our current successes.

To foster the success, we recently instituted a Quality Circle ì
program in which staff and management sit down weekly to solve ì
hoop production problems and scheduling.


New Clients

We have recently launched a successful marketing drive that has ì
brought us a number of new clients.  For example, the School ì
District has contracted to have us print all their class ì
schedules, activity announcements, sports rosters, and ì
theatrical programs.


The Rest of the Year

The remainder of the year looks good.  We are currently gearing ì
up for a large book publication in August.  We started expanding ì
our inventories of paper and inks this month so we'll have ì
adequate amounts on hand.
