   Usage:       PREPARE filename

   PREPARE is a companion  program  to  MA  (featured  on last month's
   disk), which allows you to manipulate image data in a library file.

   To start PREPARE, call it from  the  command  line with the name of
   the file you wish to examine. You will then see the initial command
   screen, which will offer several options:-

       VIEW -   Look at the current image.
       EDIT -   Alter any of the displayed image data.
       NEXT -   Move to the next image.
       LAST -   Move to the previous image.
       SAVE -   Save  the   complete   image   file,   including   any
                alterations, to disk.
       QUIT -   Exit PREPARE.

   NOTE: PREPARE needs a copy of  COMMAND.COM available in the current
   path, if you need to use the VIEW option.

   WARNING: The VIEW option  creates  a  temporary  file ~MA.TMP - any
   file with this name, in that directory, will be overwritten !

   HINTS: If you save an apparently  'useless'  image, with only a few
   points saved in no discernible pattern, try the following:

        Edit the X and Y scale,  reducing  it  from  1 to .1. The VIEW
        option should show a small pattern in the top left hand corner
        of the screen. Edit the centre position, increasing X from 640
        to 3000, and Y up to 2000.  You  can then try fine tuning each
        variable to  get  the  picture  as  large  as  possible, while
        keeping it on the screen.
